![Umbrella Design Concept of the Day: The Eco Brolly from designer Shiu Yuk Yuen is exactly what it looks like: A collapsible aluminum “umbrella skeleton” that allows the user to recycle any found object to create an environmentally-friendly rain guard.
I don’t think this is particularly convenient or practical (what about a downpour? A newspaper won’t do much for that), but I love the idea of bringing eco-friendliness into an often overlooked aspect of daily life.
