Marriage Proposal of the Day: During round two of the D.C. Council’s hearings on marriage equality, a witness named Andy Hertzberg abruptly put his testimony on hold in order to propose to his partner, Andy Rollman.
In a positive sign for same-sex marriage proponents, council members appeared to approve of Hertzberg’s statement, and even offered the couple their congratulations.
